I grew up in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. After my freshman year of college in Providence, RI, I moved to Charlotte, NC where I lived for 5 years. In October 2010, I moved to Charleston, SC, where I stayed for just under 3 years. I found my way back to Charlotte in 2013 and after just under 2 years, in April 2015, I headed an hour and a half southwest of Charlotte to Greenville, SC. As of early November 2016, I have been in Rhode Island after calling the Carolinas home for over a decade!
During college, I spent time working in the restaurant and event industry, as well as at Red Bull, who I spent 8.5 years with in my various roles.
A year after relocating to Charleston for Red Bull, I also began teaching Pure Barre. It was when I moved back to Charlotte, that I had the opportunity to become even more involved with Pure Barre and joined the Teacher Training Team. After much consideration, I eventually left Red Bull to pursue Pure Barre in a full time capacity.
I remained on the Training & Technique Team at Pure Barre for 10 years, with the majority of the time spent as the Director of Training Operations, building a training program and infrastructure to support over 8,000 instructors across almost 700 studios. I, along with the rest of my team, created and provided all the of processes, resources, and content to recruit, train and retain all instructors to increase retention, brand unity and quality control. I excel at the ability to teach and mentor, build teams and manage projects.
As of October 2023, I started a new role as the International Education Manager at Xponential Fitness (Pure Barre’s parent company). I’m looking forward to becoming the multi-brand fitness education expert and establishing streamlined protocols and procedures for supporting instructor recruiting, hiring, training, and ongoing development across all 10 Xponential Fitness brands.
I currently reside in Rhode Island, about 20 minutes away from where I grew up. I love exploring the smallest state, being active and spending time with family and friends.
